Eucalyptus as a sustainable gift!

A great way to show love on special days, holidays and birthdays is to give a gift that is thoughtful and special without contributing to landfills and pollution with plastic wrapping and materials!

We decided to make eucalyptus bunches on jute string to hang in the shower! When the hot steam passes through the branches your room will get a fresh dose of the earthy clean smell and your lungs will thank you!

what you will need and where it comes from;

eucalyptus – a fast-growing evergreen tree native to Australia. As an ingredient in many products, it is used to reduce symptoms of coughs, colds, and congestion. (we purchased our fresh eucalyptus from an etsy shop named FromTheGardenWhlse

jute – rough fiber made from the stems of a tropical Old World plant, used for making twine and rope or woven into sacking or matting. (we found jute on amazon)

recyclable paper bags – bags with no plastic or foil etc. all paper! (we got ours from Michaels)

all you do is cut the branches and gather them in a bunch then tie the jute around the sprig and leave the string long enough to go over a shower head!

love you all 🙂
